Part-No.: EP942A2E, Function: repeater, Standard: HDMI 1.3

EP94A2E is an HDMI 1.3 4-IN 1-OUT Repeater with Audio Input/Output which is suitable for Audio Amplifier applications. The chip supports 4 HDMI input ports (Port 0, Port 1, Port 2 and Port 3), 1 HDMI output port and Audio Outputs in IIS and SPDIF. The audio output and HDMI output can be selected from the same or different sources. The audio for the HDMI output can be chosen from a regenerated LPCM audio source (input from IIS_*_IN pins) or the original audio from the selected HDMI input port. The chip also supports 4 ports of on-chip EDID RAM. This will save system cost quite a bit. The chip is compliant with HDMI 1.3a and supports SD/HD Audio and Video in 12-bit Deep Color up to 1080p (225 Mhz TMDS clock).
